Reporting & Data Collection
ESOS and SECR schemes – ESOS examines energy usage, whereas SECR (Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting) is a mandatory requirement based on the number of employees, turnover and balance sheet and reports a company’s energy emissions as well as emissions for transport and production based on a kWh per unit of production or kWh per M2 of floor area. This is reported annually and filed with Companies House. It is aimed at reducing carbon emissions by 20% before 2030. We are able to assist with this reporting by advising and providing the necessary data for submission.
Climate Change Levy Relief – Certain business sectors are eligible for Climate Change Levy Relief as part of a climate change agreement. Targeted reduction in CO2 results are reported annually.
Heat Networks – Any building that supplies a conditioned space to tenants must report every four years with targets for improved efficiency and accurate methods of calculating tenant usage.
Smart Building Monitoring – There is an increasing requirement from investors for compliance with schemes such as GRESB (Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark) Institutional investors use GRESB data to monitor ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) performance in their portfolio. This requires sub metering and data collection, feeding into an analytical platform.
Low Carbon Generation – We submit requests to DNOs for export demand and engage in negotiation with suppliers in regards to FiT payments and export contracts.
EII Exemption – We have successfully achieved relief on RO and FiT for some high energy users that meet specific criteria.
EV Charging Projects – We are actively involved in all aspects of negotiations with distribution network operators for individual schemes ranging from a single 2 port intermediate charger to a bank of 200 rapid chargers for “last mile” delivery projects.
